How FerryGoGo started

FerryGoGo began in 2017 from a simple, personal need: finding clear, trustworthy ferry information and route maps shouldn’t feel like a scavenger hunt. What started as a small hobby website with hand-drawn European routes has grown into a platform that maps ferry routes around the world.

Built for travelers who want to understand their options

FerryGoGo is for travelers who don’t yet have ferry routes in their mental map. People who know where they want to go, but not how a ferry fits into the journey. We focus on clarity first: showing where routes exist, how regions connect, and what kind of crossings are available, before getting into specifics.

Real experiences, not just data

Whenever we can, we get out there ourselves. We take crossings, review onboard facilities, and capture photos that help you know what to expect before you travel. Sometimes it helps to have a sense of what to expect before you decide whether a crossing is right for you.

What we’re building

Our goal is simple: make ferry travel easier to understand, wherever you’re headed. We’re continuing to expand route coverage, improve our maps, and add more practical guidance.
